Every one of us has a unique story. From that story and the experiences within it, each of us has a take on life that nobody else shares. We say and hear it said all the time: life is short. At 44 I’m becoming increasingly more aware of my own mortality, something like many, I never gave much thought when I was younger. Most likely, I’ve walked well over half my path in life. It seems like a waste to kick the bucket without leaving something written down about my experiences so I can share what I’ve learnt from them. It’s rich and conceited to think that anyone else will get anything out of this, or that by doing this I am leaving an indelible eternal mark on the universe. I can hope though that it will serve as a sort of catharsis that helps me deal with the skeletons and cobwebs in the closet of my past. My name’s J.C. Love.
